HR Advisor - Preston - Up to 30k - Hybrid

The company is seeking a talented HR Advisor to join the team, offering the flexibility to work remotely with only two days a month required in the office.

The HR Advisor will play a crucial role in supporting the HR department in various functions, ensuring effective implementation of HR policies and procedures. The successful candidate will provide professional advice and support to managers and employees, contributing to the overall efficiency and development of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Employee Relations: Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance management.
  • Recruitment and Onboarding: Assist in the recruitment process, from job posting and candidate selection to onboarding new employees, ensuring a seamless integration into the company.
  • HR Policies and Procedures: Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures in line with current legislation and best practices.
  • Training and Development: Identify training needs, coordinate and deliver training sessions, and support the development of employees to enhance their skills and career progression.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, keeping up-to-date with changes and advising the organization accordingly.
  • HR Administration: Manage and maintain accurate employee records, including contracts, performance reviews, and other HR documentation.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze HR data and metrics to provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement of HR practices.
  • Project Management: Participate in HR projects and initiatives aimed at improving organizational performance and employee engagement.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an HR Advisor or in a similar HR role.
  • Strong knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and employment laws.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels.
  • Proactive and solutions-oriented, with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a remote work environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • CIPD qualification or equivalent experience is preferred.
