DevSecOps Engineer - South London - InfoSec
Avanti Recruitment is working with a leading organisation in the entertainment / lifestyle industry to recruit a DevSecOps Engineer to join their innovative Tech Team. They are looking for a DevOps Engineer with an interest in Security and has worked in a DevSecOps role previously and can build security into their infrastructure platforms and software deployments.
Your role will include:
- Architect and implement cutting-edge security solutions for cloud-native distributed systems
- Spearhead information security, balancing robust protection with agile development
- Lead internal security audits and shape the infosec strategy
- Manage cyber incident response processes, working with specialist partners
The ideal candidate will have:
- 5+ years in Information Security within a UK-wide or international digital business
- Strong expertise in security solutions for cloud-native systems (Azure, Kubernetes)
- Experience with tools like PowerBI, Nessus, CrowdStrike, and Sentinel
- Proficiency in SQL-based data warehouse solutions and network-level security
- A track record of thriving in fast-paced agile environments
Bonus points for:
- Relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+)
- Experience with multi-site business operations and physical security solutions
Location: South London, Croydon - Hybrid 2 days a week (some flexibility possible if required.
Salary: Up to £75,000 - £85,000
Duration: Permanent
