HR Advisor

Overview: Working closely with the HR Director, the HR Advisor/Administrator will be the first point of contact for all HR queries. The successful applicant will be responsible for processing the majority of the employee documentation, including recruitment, maintenance of employee files, new starter & leaver paperwork and absence management.

Key Relationships: Managing Director, HR Director, All staff

Job Purpose:

  • Recruitment -placing advertisements, arranging interviews, conducting telephone interviews, and may also be required to participate in the interview
  • Preparing contracts and offer of employment documentation and undertaking relevant statutory checks and employment references
  • Undertaking the new starter induction process and making all associated arrangements & checks
  • Maintaining the HR database - adding starters, leavers and absence details
  • Maintaining new starter files
  • Processing all leavers and preparing relevant correspondence
  • Processing all absence related records
  • Preparing data for payroll on a monthly basis
  • Preparing other HR related communications as required
  • Assisting staff and managers with HR related queries on an as and when basis
  • May be required to travel within the UK to other company sites to assist with HR related matters
