We are seeking a dedicated Payroll Team Leader to join our Accounting & Finance department. This position requires the ability to manage payroll operations effectively and provide leadership to our team.

Description
- Lead the payroll team to ensure timely and accurate payroll processing
- Develop and implement payroll policies and procedures
- Resolve payroll discrepancies and respond to employee payroll queries
- Prepare and submit reports on payroll operations to the management
- Liaise with HR to ensure all payroll data is accurate and up-to-date
- Oversee the preparation of year-end reports and P60s
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and internal policies
- Provide training and support to the payroll team
Profile
A successful Payroll Team Leader should have:
- A degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field
- Proven expertise as a payroll team leader or similar role
- Strong knowledge of payroll software and MS Office (especially Excel)
- Solid understanding of accounting fundamentals and payroll best practices
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with colleagues and stakeholders
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills
- High degree of professionalism and confidentiality
