We are on the lookout for a Client Manager who is passionate about delivering a 5-star service and thrives on providing expert advice and support to clients. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working through scenarios to help clients, researching topics to provide accurate advice, and completing tasks that align with the success of clients and teammates.

Day to Day of the Role:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, offering expert advice and support in financial decision-making.
  • Oversee the accuracy of financial data, identify areas for improvement, and proactively alert clients to potential pitfalls.
  • Support clients in understanding their financial figures and provide strategic advice to guide them through their financial journey.
  • Produce comprehensive financial reports with valuable commentary and analysis.
  • Conduct regular financial analysis, including bank reconciliations and monitoring of outstanding sales.
  • Offer strategic planning advice on cash flow management, foreign exchange, and other critical financial areas.
  • Manage a portfolio of clients to ensure timely submissions of accounts, VAT returns, and other financial documents.
  • Engage in self-development and team development, sharing knowledge and insights to improve overall team performance.
  • Contribute to business development by identifying and implementing process improvements.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Commitment to delivering exceptional service and creating a ‘wow' experience for clients and team members.
  • Commercially savvy with a big-picture mindset and the ability to understand the client's perspective.
  • ACA/ACCA qualification or equivalent experience in a similar role.
  • Experience in managing client relationships and going beyond traditional accounting requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of property sector-specific tax rules and regulations is highly desirable.
  • Strong attention to detail and technical understanding of accounting and tax rules.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with a solutions-oriented approach.
  • Adaptability to different software and technology.
  • 7+ years of accountancy practice and industry experience.
