Lecturer in Public Services

A college in Cardiff is seeking a Lecturer in Public Services for an immediate start. This role involves covering 37 hours per week as a period of sickness cover. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality education in Public Services.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Deliver lectures and tutorials in Public Services.
- Prepare and develop teaching materials.
- Assess students' coursework and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.
- Engage with students to support their educational needs.
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum development.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum Level 2 qualification in English and Maths.
- Relevant qualification in Public Services or equivalent.
- Must have a DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one.
- Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC).
