Are you a seasoned construction professional with a passion for managing projects and driving excellence in joinery craftsmanship? We are seeking a Project Manager to lead and oversee the joinery package on a few bespoke builds around London. The ideal candidate would come from a joinery background having the management and technical expertise of the joinery trade to lead the team to new heights.

Salary: £50,000 - £70,000

Role Overview
As the Construction Director & Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of construction operations within our joinery projects. From initial planning to project completion, you will ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage multiple joinery projects simultaneously, overseeing all construction activities.
  • Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring alignment with client requirements and company objectives.
  • Collaborate with design teams, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to achieve project goals.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety standards.
  • Manage project resources effectively, including materials, manpower, and equipment.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service and addressing any concerns or issues promptly.
  • Implement and enforce health and safety protocols across all project sites.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, motivating and inspiring them to deliver outstanding results.
  • Prepare and present project reports and updates to senior management.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager, or similar role within the construction or joinery industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of joinery techniques, materials, and processes.
  • Strong project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Effective leadership and team management abilities.
  • Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • Relevant certifications SMSTS, HNS, HSE.
