Hours and Duties
Pay rate: £28,490.77 per annum .
Shift: 4 on 4 off
Start: ASAP
Location: Chichester Area
- Resp Unloading of packaging and GRN
- Operate machinery to collect and move packaging and organise in appropriate shelving in relevant storage area
- Raw Materials;
- Liaise with QA to ensure that raw materials are ready for storing in racking.
- Weight and scan raw materials to input accurately on system
- Operate machinery to collect and move raw materials to racking
- Carry out Stock Rotation on a daily basis
- Dispose of rejected raw materials in the Compactor
- Crates/Pallets/General Supplies (FIFO)Operate machinery to collect and move Crates, Pallets and General Supplies and organise in appropriate shelving in relevant storage area, scale checks
- Check and use a range of machinery; forklifts and electric and manual pump truck
- Dispose of unwanted cardboard, using the Compactor
- Loading;
- Accurate picking of Stock for Customer
- Scan all finished goods and put onto the system
- Operate Machinery to load all 'depots together', in a safe and neat way.
- Manage and effect the stock rotation system
- Storing film in correct warehouse and top up for production
- Transport Logistics;
- Analyse orders and calculate pallet requirement by customers
- Liaise and book with transport collections/customer transport representatives
- Complete transport collection plan request and ensure this is issued
- Liaise with Supply Chain
- Spot order errors/omissions and report to Supply Chain
- Carry out temperature check of Transport
- Complete the transport log daily
- Lead and fulfil the cleaning schedule for the packhouse and yard to ensure these are free from rubbish and tidy and compliant with Food Hygiene and HAACP requirements
- Administration;
- Pick Lists for all customers, Lidl Frames
- De-hire of CHEP pallets and ordering chip pallets, JS crate ordering
- Create and print out delivery notes
- Write and send end of day report
- Scan all finished materials onto the system
- Liaise with production regarding any issues or errors
- Carry out weekly packaging Stock Count
- Assist other production teams/sites complete their administration and paperwork as requested i.e. Walton Farm
- Prepare the expected intake report daily and keep this maintained throughout the day
- Accurate control of all returnable customer containers / pallets
- Ensure up to date knowledge of stock and traceability through all processes back to origin, if needs arise to assist
- Ensure correct team resources are utilised efficiently and daily activities are carried out to the standards required
- Carry out meter readings each Monday
- Comply with all Company and Health and Safety Regulations
- Comply with all Company Environmental Objectives
