Salary: £11.44 - £14 per hour (Depending on experience)

Hours: Full Time and Part Time, days, or nights (Willing to work alternate weekends)

Job Summary

Our clients are recruiting for Care Assistants / Team Leaders for their small family run care home with a unique ‘home from home' environment where they support and care for 35 elderly residents.

They are looking for passionate individuals to join the team, who will endeavour to put their residents at the heart of everything they do.

Team leaders will in addition lead a small team to ensure the shift is running smoothly and residents have their needs met including the administration of medication.

  • Experience required
  • Flexibility to work a range of shifts is essential.
  • Must be able to communicate sensitively with residents with dementia.
  • Work as part of a dynamic team.
  • Safeguarding knowledge is an advantage, but training will be provided.

Your role:

  • Supporting residents with all aspects of personal care whilst respecting dignity and privacy.
  • Maintaining appropriate records in relation to care provided.
  • Encouraging independence and working to a high standard of care practice.
  • Working with a person-centred approach.
  • Ensuring the residents' safety and wellbeing are paramount.
