A reputable and growing accountancy firm based in Chorley is seeking a dedicated Audit and Accounts Senior to join their dynamic team. **Your role and responsibilities
Reporting directly to the Directors and Managers you will be responsible for:
- Review and finalise bookkeeping and VAT Returns prepared by junior members of staff
- Preparation of year end accounts for companies, partnership and sole traders
- Review and finalise of year end accounts prepared by junior members of staff for Director/ Manager sign off
- Preparation of Self-Assessment Tax computations for Director/ Manager review
- Preparation of Corporation Tax computations for Director/ Manager review
- Planning and preparation of audit work including being the lead personnel during fieldwork
- Provide cloud software training for staff and clients - Sage, Xero and QuickBooks
- Day to day dealing with staff and client queries
**Essential skills
- Good IT skills including the use of Microsoft packages
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills
- Being able to work individually and as part of a team
- Good organisational and timekeeping skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ambitious, proactive and self-motivated
- Experience in audit
- Being fully qualified (ACCA/ ACA) or part qualified or qualified by experience
