Role: Head of Sourcing
Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 per annum + 10% car allowance + bonuses + wider benefits

Role:
As part of continued growth, Fusion 21 is now looking to recruit a Head of Sourcing. As the Head of Sourcing, you will manage a small team and be directly responsible for the strategic oversight of the framework sourcing process. You would be responsible for identifying new growth areas and subsequently creating/implementing new frameworks, products and services that benefit the organisation directly, as well as its members and suppliers.
This would all be done in partnership with the Senior Leadership Team (which you will also be a part of), whilst also ensuring the delivery of the pre-existing framework sourcing programme.
Duties will include;
- Ensure the delivery of Fusion21's framework sourcing programme in line with the organisation's Vision, Mission and Values
- Facilitate the framework sourcing process and support a team that will help develop the technical and commercial aspects of new frameworks
- Keep up to date with market trends by liaising with suppliers, members and your wider procurement network to assist with existing and future requirements
- Develop strategies and business cases for new procurement services and analyse/assess performance of Fusion21 frameworks
- Build effective relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
- Identify areas for added value and cost savings
- Ensure compliance with all relevant procurement legislation
- Drive continuous improvement within the business and create social value through your procurement work
- Implement controls in all procurement projects to ensure compliant procurement activity from suppliers/members
- Improve performance with innovative supply chain strategies and maintain strong supplier relationships
- Provide commercial advice and strategic risk management
- Auditing and report writing
- Lead a small team
- Chair the Senior Leadership Team's Business Resilience Review Group
Person:
The successful Head of Sourcing:
- Track record working in strategic procurement roles with a strong commercial acumen
- Staff management experience
- Knowledge of Public Sector procurement processes
- Demonstrable experience in procuring frameworks and Dynamic Purchasing Systems - desirable
- Working knowledge of built environment contracting i.e. construction, facilities management, property compliance, asset management, building surveying, etc.
- Management of an organisation's critical suppliers
- Track record in risk management
- MCIPS qualified
