Security Architect - Leading UK Consultancy (Active DV Clearance Mandatory)

Insite IT have an exciting opportunity for a DV cleared Security Architect to join one of the UK's leading Consultancies as they continue to grow due to continued success in the Public Sector.

As they look to become the leader in Architecture Advisory on mission-critical projects, they are continuing to grow their Architecture Advisory practice with top-tier talent to keep up with demand from their clients.

The Solutions Architect will play a critical role in designing and implementing strategic Architectures for classified projects up to Above Secret Level. This individual will work with cross-functional teams, whilst managing stakeholders to translate technical requirements into cutting edge solutions that align with business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and define Security Architectures for projects in the Public Sector.
  • Design and architect security solutions, with experience in cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP) and DevSecOps best practices.
  • Develop Architecture artefacts, diagrams and documentation to communicate design concepts and implementation plans.
  • Keep up to date with cyber security trends and recommend innovative solutions that enhance security capabilities.
  • Provide technical leadership and work with cross-functional teams including Enterprise Architects, Solution Architects, Cloud Architects to align security strategy with solutions.
  • Ensure a secure by design approach mentality is instilled across client environments.
  • Support proposal development and contribute to technical discussions with clients and stakeholders.

The Successful Candidate:

  • Experience working in high paced and high pressured environments within the Public Sector.
  • Experience as a Security Architect within a consulting role.
  • Strong proficiency in security best standards and frameworks such as ISO, NIST, NCSC, PCI-DSS etc.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills with a focus on client satisfaction.
  • UK national, possessing an active DV security clearance.
