Credit Controller
Witham - 3 days a week / 2 days WFH
Up to £30,000
Working as part of a team of 5, reported to the Credit Manager. My client is looking for a good team fits for this friendly and growing business. Candidates need to be able to work in a changing environment as new systems and procedures are put in place to improve inefficiencies.
- Managing own ledger of 150-200 customers, collecting £2-3 million monthly
- Chasing customers for outstanding debts by telephone, email and statements
- Investigating and resolving invoice queries
- Liaising internally with Directors and Account Managers to help with query resolution
- Allocation of cash
- Monthly reconciliation of accounts
- Monthly aged debtor reporting and debtors meeting
Requirements
- 3-5 years Credit Control experience in a commercial business
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability and motivation to work off own initiative
- Able to work to deadlines and cash collection targets
- Ability to communicate internally with stakeholders
My client is looking to start someone November/December time so is willing to wait for the right person.
