- Project Manager (Security)

A Project Manager is required for our client who are based in Manchester. You will be joining the Information Systems function and will be responsible for managing and delivering a portfolio of projects and workstreams relating to security.
This role will be full-time, working on the following set of Security-related projects:
- Implementation of enhanced Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) capabilities across all organisation endpoints
- Implementation of multi-factor authentication (MFA) on all user accounts
- Implementation of Privileged Access Management (PAM)
The successful candidate will be:
- An experienced, professional Project Manager who has previously worked on similar projects, including deploying Security solutions in a hybrid environment.
- You will ideally be from a Security engineering or architecture background.
Beneficial to have:
- NIST 800-53, CIS 18, NCSC best practice.
- Can understand a project, map it to technologies and make recommendations.
- Have significant experience of business analysis working including working with budget holders to identify the systems requirements and translate them to functional specifications.
- Have knowledge of change management from both a technical and project perspective.
- Have experience of ITIL based IS processes.
- Have experience in leading and facilitating change in a regulatory or public sector environment.
- Hold a recognised project/change management qualification.
