Reception Host Manager

About the role

Sytner Land Rover Sheffield are looking for a friendly and enthusiastic Reception Host Manager to join our fantastic team.

As a Sytner Reception Host Manager you should share your passion for our brand every day and immerse customers in the world of Land Rover. The majority of your role will be to manage 10 team members, this includes carrying out regular reviews, managing the teams performance, rotas, holidays and absence.

You would also be our Mental Health First Aider and drive Diversity & Inclusivity within the Retailer (experience of this type of role would be desirable but not essential as all training will be provided), You would also be responsible for coordinating all our charity and volunteer work.

You would also ensure our Showroom meets all the required Modern Luxury standards including our Branded Goods display, working with the Sales Team to coordinate clients new vehicle collections, ensuring showroom vehicles are displayed correctly and all customer areas/refreshments are well managed.

You would be the first point of contact for our third-party cleaning company to feedback any issues to the Area Manager with regards to the standards required.

You will also be required to cover the Reception/Host role during busy periods welcoming every client through our doors, managing their visit by directing them to the correct department efficiently and offering refreshments. You will also manage incoming calls and will be responsible for connecting them to the right department promptly.

About You

Previous experience of managing a team is essential.
To provide the best service to our clients we are looking for someone who enjoys client contact, is a proactive communicator with our management and retailer teams, innovative in your approach to creating experiences and someone who will use their own initiative where they think it will delight a client.
You will also need to collate customer knowledge and anticipate their needs, have excellent organisational and preparation skills coupled with a genuine passion for detail.

You and your team will be the first impression on the phone or in our Showroom for our clients and guests so a warm and friendly approach is essential. You will also help proactively manage the experience of whoever visits our showroom so that each client and guest feel that they have had uniquely personal and bespoke service.
