Myn is recruiting for a long-term client in the South East of England. We are seeking an experienced PMO Manager to lead a dynamic team and drive the successful delivery of major transformation programmes across the organisation. This role is crucial in ensuring that all corporate transformation initiatives follow a consistent methodology and achieve their strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Corporate PMO, managing and coordinating high-profile transformation programmes across all directorates.
  • Ensure programmes are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, while realising both financial and non-financial benefits.
  • Manage the governance of the transformation programme, ensuring effective assurance, risk management, and regular reporting.
  • Develop and maintain PMO standards, tools, and templates, including the PPM Academy.
  • Work closely with internal and external partners to ensure resources and skills are effectively allocated for programme delivery.
  • Line-manage a multi-disciplinary PMO team, providing guidance and leadership to ensure excellent service delivery.

What We're Looking For:

  • Degree or equivalent qualification in Project or Programme Management (desirable).
  • Professional certification in P3O, Managing Successful Programmes, Prince 2, or similar project management methodologies (preferred).
  • Substantial experience in managing corporate PMOs and delivering large-scale, complex transformation programmes.
  • Strong knowledge of legislation, regulations, and technical requirements relevant to programme management.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets and resources efficiently, ensuring value for money and successful outcomes.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and partners.
  • Advanced problem-solving and analytical abilities, with the capacity to devise creative solutions in a complex environment.
  • Experience of benefits management, both financial and non-financial, is essential.
