Site Manager - Construction
We are searching for an experienced Site Manager to oversee an exciting construction project within the Brighton area. This role involves directing on-site activities, ensuring adherence to deadlines and budgets, and upholding construction quality for a fantastic company.
The Role:
- Direct and supervise construction activities on-site.
- Oversee staff and ensure adherence to health and safety standards.
- Track project progress and report milestones to management.
- Manage site logistics, including material deliveries and equipment usage.
- Implement and uphold quality control procedures.
- Address issues and conflicts arising during construction.
The Person:
We are seeking a highly organised and motivated individual with a strong construction background. The successful candidate will have civils experience and a proven track record as a Site Manager in the construction industry.
- A valid SMSTS qualification is required.
- A strong grasp of relevant construction software tools is also advantageous.
- Exceptional leadership and interpersonal abilities to effectively manage a diverse team of professionals, including subcontractors and site personnel. Demonstrated ability to foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Impeccable time management and organisational abilities, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget. Attention to detail and ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- A deep understanding of health and safety regulations in construction, with a commitment to ensuring a safe and compliant workplace.
Additional Information:
- Hours of work 8am to 5:30pm Monday to Friday.
- Competitive day rate negotiable depending on experience.
- Working in a supportive and collaborative team setting.
- Please note that this position is based onsite Monday to Friday, as the nature of the role does not allow for hybrid working options.
