PA to the Principal - Exciting Opportunity at a Leading Academy

Empowering Learning is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a dynamic and inclusive all-through school in East London. This supportive and welcoming academy has been a cornerstone of the local community, and is dedicated to creating a vibrant, welcoming environment where students from Reception to Year 13 can thrive.

About the School:

The school is founded on the belief that every student can achieve remarkable progress when supported by the right environment. Its mission is to foster a community of pioneers who strive to leave a lasting, positive impact on the world.

The academy fosters a vibrant, supportive learning community, where students, staff, and parents work together to ensure success for all.

The Opportunity:

We are now seeking an experienced PA to the Principal to join this exceptional school. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for visitors, staff, students, and other stakeholders, and will play a key role in upholding the school's ethos and values.

The PA will support the Principal by ensuring all routines, systems, and procedures are in place to help the smooth running of the school. This role requires someone with excellent communication, organisational, and administrative skills, who can represent the Principal to a range of audiences and manage a busy office environment with professionalism and discretion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the front-facing representative of the school, providing exceptional customer service.
  • Liaise with students, staff, parents, and external stakeholders to ensure smooth communication.
  • Ensure that systems and processes are efficiently managed to support the Principal in achieving the school's goals.
  • Support the Principal in upholding the vision and ethos of the academy.

We are looking for candidates who:

  • Have previous PA experience in a busy office environment (experience in a school setting is desirable but not essential).
  • Possess strong administrative and organisational skills.
  • Are passionate about education and committed to working in a school that holds high expectations for both students and staff.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and are eager to contribute to the ongoing success of the school.

In return, the school offers:

  • The opportunity to be a key part of the school's evolution and continued success.
  • A competitive salary above national pay scales and a comprehensive benefits package.
  • Access to a top-tier professional development programme, as well as opportunities to collaborate with colleagues across a wider network of schools.

If you're an experienced PA looking for a rewarding role in a forward-thinking and supportive school, we encourage you to apply.
