Experienced Accounts Assistant required for a group of companies with the Head Office based in Sheffield.
The purpose of the role is to provide day-to-day assistance to the Management Accountant in a busy finance department responsible for several different companies within the group.
Duties will include:
- Processing of purchase invoices.
- Reconciling supplier accounts
- Ensuring timely payment of suppliers & staff expenses
- Bank postings and reconciliation.
- Assisting with information collation for VAT returns
- Track and resolve accounting queries, as required.
- Other ad hoc duties required to support the Management Accountant.
Person
- Previous experience is essential.
- Accuracy and good attention to detail is required.
- Strong inter-personal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels is essential.
- Good IT skills including Excel and Sage are required.
