Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant for an immediate start, to work with a Year 3 pupil. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about supporting children's learning and development across all areas of the curriculum. While SEND experience is desirable, it is not essential as full support and ongoing training will be provided.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Provide one-to-one support to a Year 3 pupil, assisting with their educational and social development.
- Work collaboratively with the classroom teacher to enhance the learning experience of the pupil.
- Support the pupil with different activities, ensuring they are engaged and making progress.
- Adapt communication style to meet the needs of the pupil.
- Assist with the preparation of teaching materials and learning environments.
- Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in SEND.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- A passion for working with children and supporting their educational journey.
- Good literacy and numeracy skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Patience, understanding, and a positive approach to student development.
- SEND experience is desirable but not essential.
- Commitment to professional development and willingness to undertake training.
