Finance Manager - Business Partnering

As Finance Business Partner you'll support a large part of the Boots business. You'll bring insight, challenge and influence across key business decisions and offer a wider business/market perspective. This opportunity naturally engages with business partners ensuring understanding, ownership and alignment of monthly results, financial forecasts, budgets, 3 year plan and strategic initiatives.

About the role

You'll be part of the finance team reporting to the Head of Finance. Key responsibilities:

  • Explain key Finance concepts to non-Finance colleagues
  • Understanding the trends and drivers impacting performance
  • To hold the leadership team to account to deliver in-year financial commitments, budget and 3 year plan whilst maintaining strong partner relationships
  • Engage with the wider BUK Finance team on ensuring alignment on initiative valuations and reporting methodologies
  • Working with our FP&A and Financial Control teams to ensure rigorous and robust financial planning processes
  • Assisting with the Financial approval of business/investment/programme decisions guiding the central investment team to produce appropriate business cases

What you'll need to have

  • You will be a qualified accountant (CIMA/ACA/ACCA or equivalent) with post qualification experience
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience of financial modelling.
  • Commercial awareness, identifies practical solutions, able drive performance
  • Experience leading and developing individuals and teams
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities
