The office manager is a pivotal role that keeps the sales team running smoothly and efficiently. You'll be responsible for both administrative and operational tasks, ensuring the sales office functions seamlessly to support achieving sales targets.
Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the sales team, including scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and speaking with potential customers/clients.
- Answer phones and emails in a professional and courteous manner, acting as a point of contact for clients and customers.
- Manage and schedule client meetings and appointments.
- Assist with sales presentations and proposals.
- Manage office operations, including maintaining office supplies, equipment, and inventory.
- Oversee office maintenance and ensure a safe and clean work environment.
- Manage office budget and track expenditures.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration between sales team members and other departments.
Requirements:
- Previous office manager experience
- Experience in a sales environment would be an asset
- Strong administrative and organisational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients, colleagues, and superiors
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software
- Ability to prioritise tasks, manage multiple deadlines, and work independently with minimal supervision
