Are you an experienced and ambitious Business Development professional seeking a new challenge? We are so pleased to be working with a highly regarded US headquartered global law firm on a senior business development position based in their London office. The firm's reputation is built on providing innovative legal solutions to clients across energy, technology, and life sciences sectors and they are offering a unique opportunity to lead the Client Development team in London. As the Client Development Senior Manager, you will collaborate closely with firm leadership and your team to drive business development initiatives for both London and Brussels offices across practice and industry sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the Client Development Team in London, overseeing the proposal pipeline and process.
  • Provide strategic advice to partnership based on market intelligence and trends.
  • Collaborate with international Client Development teams to ensure alignment and promote cross-selling opportunities.
  • Support lawyer-led client teams with strategic account management and client relationship practices.
  • Identify client targets, conduct research, and execute plans to acquire new business.
  • Plan and assess ROI on industry events and client engagements.
  • Assist in the successful integration of new lateral partners through business development coaching.
  • Oversee business development expenditure and manage budgets for London and Brussels offices.
  • Enhance industry brand through public relations, events, and award submissions.
  • Produce regular reports to keep the firm informed of business development activities.

Requirements:

  • Self-motivated individual comfortable working independently and in team settings.
  • Strong leadership skills guiding senior partners through proposal stages.
  • Exceptional communication skills across all mediums
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.
  • Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite; proposal and project management training desirable.
  • Experience in the energy or technology sector preferred; additional language capabilities a plus.
