Pay:
Hourly, paid weekly
The Role includes
:
- Operating commercial HGV/LGV vehicles
- Load and unload goods
- Manual work
- Ensure loads are safely secured
- Follow instruction from traffic reports
- Carrying out basic routine maintenance
- Responsible for delivery paperwork, PDA, Walk around checks or any documentation
- Following the compliance regulations and laws that are apply
Requirements:
- Be a Professional HGV Driver
- Valid Class 1 (Category C+E) driving license
- CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence)
- Tachograph knowledge
- Licence held for a at least of 6 months, with at least 60 days driving recorded on your tachograph
- Clean driving record
- Great work ethic
- Flexibility & Reliability
- We support you in getting your DBS
- Provide a full 5-year reference history
Driver Knowledge
:
- Good understanding of transportation laws and regulations
- Great operation of HGVs
- Basic Understanding of maintenance and repair of HGVs
- Used GPS & tracking devices
We have opportunities for the right candidates to support with further training after a period of employment is complete.
