Ashby Computer Services LLP is seeking a talented 1st Line IT Support Technician to join our dynamic team in Northampton.

Key Responsibilities:
- Handle first-line support queries within defined parameters
- Assist in managing IT operations for our clients
- Ensure customer backup regimes are adhered to, recorded, and any faults rectified or escalated
- Perform and record customer anti-virus updates and scans
- Assist end users with software configuration, computer setups, and new machine installations
- Maintain customer system security and report issues
- Install and administer Office 365
- Provide first-line support for server infrastructure
- Conduct remote installations of new IT equipment
Required Skills:
- Proven experience in an IT helpdesk role
- Preferred experience with MSP environments
- Excellent IT and communication skills, articulate, and able to work well under pressure
- Strong team player
- Minimum of 5 GCSEs at Grade C or above (or equivalent), including Maths & English
- Own transport and a valid driving licence are ideal, as travel to client sites may be required
- You must be based within commuting distance to Northampton
Desirable Skills:
- VLAN setup and configurations
- Firewall and internet connectivity setups and firewall rule administration
- Server operating system installation and Active Directory setup
- Ubiquiti installation and administration
- ESET antivirus software knowledge
- Office 365 migration techniques
