The Role:
As the Interim Group Financial Controller, you will play an important role in this transformation. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will have a broad remit overseeing multiple finance teams, with the autonomy to drive process improvements and create efficiencies across the business. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced financial leader to make a significant impact during a period of change.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Team Management: Lead and manage the finance teams across various business units, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals.
- Process Improvement: Identify, design, and implement process improvements to enhance financial operations and reporting accuracy.
- Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation of consolidated financial statements, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Risk Management: Identify financial risks and implement strategies to mitigate them, ensuring robust financial controls are in place.
- Change Management: Drive change initiatives within the finance function, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
Hybrid working is on offer (2-3 days per week in the office).
The role is outside IR35, paying £650-750 per day.
