Role
We are assisting a successful company that specialises in the installation of copper and fibre network cabling, mostly internal works, who supply data cabling services to a variety of different customers, such as schools, hospitals, retail etc.
Essential requirements
- A good structured cabling background
- Cat6 / Cat6a installation, cable pulling & termination.
- Familiar with the installation and termination of all types of copper cables
- Familiar with the deployment of WiFi hardware
- Good understanding of health and safety practice, preferably supported with an CSCS or ECS card
- Previous experience operating as a Data Cabling Engineer
- Able to work in a team or alone
- An energetic work ethic, focussed on a positive and timely outcome
- Able to work in England without requiring sponsorship or the processing of a work visa
Nice to have
- Installation of Trunking and various other containment
- Ability to read drawings
- Understanding of all aspect of network installations
