About the role...
This role is known for driving SHE maturity across the Nomad Foods organisation (Factories, Head Offices, Distribution & Logistics etc.), maintaining and developing the organisational Safety and Environmental programmes, providing functional leadership, coaching the organisation and ensuring legal SHE
- Develop the organisational SHE strategy to achieve Zero Accidents & Zero impact to the environment.
- Influence SHE culture and Business Engagement including coaching SHE Leads across the group and holding leadership teams accountable for ensuring safe systems.
- Driving compliance and continuous improvement through necessary SHE governance processes, SHE Management standards and internal & external compliance is met.
- Leading a high performing team through effective recruitment, coaching and development.
About you...
We need a proactive self-starter who can build strong, meaningful relations with stakeholders across multiple geographies and functions. Someone who can work collaboratively and influence others at varying organisational levels and functional disciplines to put 'Safety First' in everything we do, driving and maturing safety culture is essential. The role requires the ability to communicate comprehensively and consistently in a fast-pace environment.
- State/Country S+H professional certificate. H&S IOSH qualification
- H&S NEBOSH Qualification
- Proven experience of driving SHE cultural maturity through an organisation
- Production/Manuf. experience, plus experience beyond Manufacturing / SC e.g., Head office, Distribution& Logistics etc.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills distilling detailed information down into key clear messages
- Previous experience of managing large teams in a multinational environment
- Environmental awareness
