HSE Manager

Elevation Recruitment Group are partnered with a Global manufacturer who are currently recruiting a HSE Manager for one of their sites in Liverpool. This role will be responsible for the Health, Safety for the manufacturing site, and will sit as part of the Senior Management Team. With a turnover of around £350 million, this position is ideal for someone with high-volume manufacturing who is currently acting as a HSE Manager or is currently a HSE Advisor, looking for their next step.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • To maintain and improve the Health, Safety and Environmental Management Systems, ensuring all policies are up to date and relevant
  • To audit HSE procedures and standards in practice and identify where standards are not being met.
  • Instigating corrective actions with relevant departments and make amendments/improvements to procedures where appropriate.
  • Ensure root cause analysis investigation is completed for all incidents, appropriate action is identified and ensure all actions are closed.
  • Control the site Hazard, Near Miss and Reportable data base.
  • Liaison and participation with Regional and Corporate EHS colleagues, through calls, meetings and implementation of Corporate standards

I'm keen to speak to HSE Professionals with the following skillset:

  • NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent
  • Experience within a manufacturing environment
  • Strong people focused approach with good communication skills
  • Knowledge of ISO systems (45001/14001)
