We are seeking an Accounts Admin to join our dynamic client based on the outskirts of Chester city centre who will be responsible for providing essential support to a group of Accountants. The ideal candidate will be adept at handling a variety of administrative tasks, ensuring the smooth operation of our office environment.

Day to Day of the role:

  • Handle daily enquiries via post, phone, and email, directing queries to the appropriate staff member or department.
  • Sort, scan, and distribute incoming post daily.
  • Provide general administrative support including paperwork, data entry, scanning, photocopying, printing, and filing.
  • Manage and organise our filing and record system efficiently.
  • Monitor office supplies and manage the ordering and distribution of new supplies as needed.
  • Adhere to all administrative processes and procedures in line with company standards and policies.
  • Assist staff members with their workload and tasks as requested, such as setting up companies and completing confirmation statements on Companies House.
  • Manage invoicing and follow up on unpaid bills.
  • Conduct occasional mailshots and liaise with suppliers for marketing purposes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
  • Familiarity with email platforms such as Gmail and Outlook.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently.
