About the Role:
- Support teaching staff to help all children achieve their full potential in the school and during external activities.
- Assist with the organization of school trips and events, managing small amounts of cash as needed.
- Gain insight into the needs of vulnerable groups within the school community.
- Plan, deliver, and evaluate learning activities, ensuring readiness with appropriate resources.
- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of dynamic learning environments.
- Encourage and support the use of technology as an educational tool in the classroom.
Support for Teaching Staff:
- Help prepare for testing and assessments, and support children with additional needs.
- Keep accurate records and discuss the impact of learning activities with the teaching team.
- Communicate with parents under the guidance of teaching staff.
- Assist with classroom management and lead specific educational interventions.
- Potentially act as a key worker for EYFS, including reporting to parents.
- Supervise the class during short periods of teacher absence.
