Learning Support Assistant (LSA) - September 2024!

If so, apply now to an exciting opportunity in the Richmond area as a Learning Support Assistant. As a Learning Support Assistant you will be required to support all aged children with their social, emotional and mental health needs. This is a full time role, Monday to Friday 8:30 to 16:00, starting September 2024!
You do not need previous experience within a school setting as a Teaching Assistant provided you have had previous experience with children in some professional capacity in the UK
The Role:
- As a an LSA you will be supporting students with SEN to ensure they are achieving their personal developmental milestones
- Work with staff members to create an engaging and stimulating learning environment for children
- You could be working one-on-one or in a small group, supporting children with their education, behavioural and social development, helping children who find it difficult to learn because they have dyslexia, a disability, and health issues
- Assisting Teachers to plan learning activities, prepare learning materials, complete records, and carry out administrative tasks
Requirements:
- Available to work 08:30 to 16:00, Monday to Friday
- Recent experience working with children in a school or alternate environment is preferential but you must have previous experience with children in some capacity in the UK
- Be willing to do personal care
- Have some experience with SEND children or be willing to work with those with SEND
- Already have or willing to apply for a Child Only enhanced DBS
- Live in the Richmond area or are able to commute to the area
