?? Position: Mechanical Design Engineer
As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing for customers' automation needs of special-purpose machinery. You will work on innovative projects across various industries., and on sites across the UK, EU, and occasionally in the USA, and Canada.
Key Responsibilities:
- Designing and developing new and existing components/products
- Conceptualizing and detailing automation solutions
- Site layout design and project management
- Ownership of customer projects from conception to customer satisfaction
- Ensuring high-quality and timely delivery of projects
Requirements:
- Solid industrial automation machinery experience
- 3 + years' relevant experience.
- Mechanical engineering degree or equivalent experience (minimum 3 years CAD Draughtsman experience)
- Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor and other Autodesk Programs
- A small digital portfolio, ahead of invitation to interview (treated in strictest confidence)
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Presentable, articulate, and eligible to work in the UK
- Excellent communication skills for liaising with customers and suppliers
