The employer is a well-established chemical manufacturing firm located in Wigan.

Description

  • Planning and executing project plans within budget and deadline constraints.
  • Coordinating with various teams to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Managing projects from start to finish.
  • Implementing project standards and procedures.
  • Identifying, managing and mitigating project risks.
  • Providing regular project updates to stakeholders.
  • Ensuring project compliance with industry and company standards.
  • Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the organisation.
  • Working closely with the procurement team to source project materials.

Profile

A successful Project Engineer should have:

  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • COSHH and IOSH experience
  • Experience working on a chemical plant
  • Pipework experience
  • A solid understanding of project management principles.
  • Proficiency in project management software.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
