Salary: £20,000 - £25,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Job Overview:

We are seeking a professional, reliable, and customer-focused Night Concierge to join the team at a development in Birmingham. The successful candidate will act as the first point of contact for residents and guests, providing excellent customer service, ensuring security, and managing any issues that may arise during the night shift. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for hospitality, customer care, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Front Desk Management: Welcome residents and guests, manage queries, and provide assistance in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Building Security: Monitor CCTV, conduct regular building checks, and ensure all entrances, exits, and communal areas are secure.
  • Customer Service: Respond to residents' needs, deal with any complaints or issues promptly and professionally, and coordinate with contractors or emergency services when required.
  • Administration: Manage any incoming or outgoing post and deliveries, maintain accurate logs of activity during the shift, and report incidents or maintenance issues.
  • Emergency Response: Act as the point of contact for any emergencies during the night, liaising with emergency services if necessary and ensuring the safety of all residents.
  • Maintenance and Reporting: Report any building maintenance issues to the property management team and follow up on repairs or servicing during out-of-office hours.
  • Team Communication: Provide detailed handovers to the daytime concierge or property manager to ensure smooth operations between shifts.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a concierge, customer service, or security role is preferred but not essential.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage confidently with residents, guests, and team members.
  • Ability to work independently, stay calm under pressure, and manage difficult situations effectively.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Basic IT skills to manage emails, log activity reports, and monitor security systems.
  • A professional, well-presented appearance and a friendly, approachable manner.
  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and public holidays as required.

Working Hours:

  • Night shifts (hours may vary), with weekends and public holidays included.
