Project Manager
5 years' minimum experience required

They are now looking for a number of experienced Project Managers, to start with the business from their Manchester offices ASAP! This is a hybrid, contracted opportunity lasting around 12 months.
Duties:
- As a Project Manager you'll take responsibility of larger, more complex projects. This includes leading internal business change initiatives, or delivering high profile projects to external customers, utilising internal and external resources.
- Accountable to lead the successful delivery of Projects and/or Releases from initiation to completion, on time, within scope and to budget, following best practice standards, in line with department guidelines
- Understand the business drivers, benefits and project objectives through clearly defined success criteria, ensuring these are the core focus of the delivery
- Ensure a thorough project initiation, setting the project up for a successful delivery Establish and maintain appropriate project governance and controls, project gates, documentation, reports and management information
- Manage the project budget through initial estimates, tracking and up to date forecasts
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with cross-functional business, technical and 3rd party stakeholders, ensuring project delivery is fit-for-purpose and meet business expectations Identify and proactively manage risks, issues and dependencies, escalating as appropriate
- Motivate the team and create a project environment that stimulates a positive 'can do' approach
- Ensure that the project is accepted into operations teams and service transition is successful
- A Pro-active and engaged member of the Group Transformation function, supporting others in the team and contributing to continual improvement initiatives
- For new product projects, manage the RFP process involving the relevant PXC stakeholders for product, supplier and implementation partner selection
Requirements:
- Must have at least 5 years of project management experience
- Experience of full lifecycle software delivery PM Project Management tools e.g. MS project
- You have successfully managed change projects through Go to Market, Operational Readiness and technical workstreams
- Desirable: PM/PGM qualification (Prince2 / MSP) 3rd party partner / vendor management
- Desirable: Industry experience within Telecoms, Media or Tech
