A long established heavy manufacturing company based in the heart of Birmingham require a Steel Mill Operative for their state of the art casting and rolling business!.
Annual Salary:
£29,000 to £32,500
Rotating Shifts:
6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm / 10pm to 6am
Job Role:
- Loading coils onto machines using overhead cranes,
- Following written instructions, recording process details,
- Using automated controls to process the material,
- inspect coils for quality,
- Basic computer usage.
- The successful candidate will have a proven track record in working in an industrial environment and using one's own initiative.
- Candidates who hold a Fork Lift counterbalance truck preferred but not essential
- Must have a solid work history
