Parts Advisor
Salary: £25,000 (On Target Earnings: £31,000)
Hours: 08:00 - 17:30, Monday to Friday, with 1 in 4 Saturdays
We are looking to recruit a Parts Advisor to join our client's team in Solihull. In this role, you'll play a key part in supplying automotive parts to the public, trade customers, and our in-house workshops. This position is ideal for a motivated individual with experience in the industry and a passion for delivering top-notch customer service for a prestigious car brand.
Key Responsibilities:
- Order Preparation: You will handle the pre-picking of parts for workshop job cards, process customer orders, and check stock availability in response to various enquiries.
- Sales and Customer Service: You will build and maintain strong customer relationships through inbound/outbound calls, walk-in customers, and online enquiries by offering excellent product knowledge and creating a positive first impression.
- Stock Control: You'll ensure that consumables and service parts are regularly restocked, enabling a quick turnaround for our workshop, other departments, and trade/retail customers.
- Warranty and Administration: Manage warranty claims related to parts issues and ensure all related administration, including customer records and invoicing, is completed accurately and promptly.
About You:
- Previous experience in a similar role, ideally within a Motor Factor, franchise, or specialist parts company.
- A confident and resilient individual with the drive, energy, and talent to succeed.
- Well-presented with a positive attitude and strong desire to excel.
- Ability to quickly establish rapport and build relationships with customers.
