Yolk Recruitments are seeking a proactive and dynamic Recruitment Co-ordinator to join an insurance company based in Cardiff on a 6 month FTC (Potential to be extended). You will manage the recruitment lifecycle for a busy and fast-growing organisation. In this role, you will identify current and future hiring needs, advertise job vacancies across various channels, and support hiring managers throughout the hiring and onboarding process.

You will work closely with various stakeholders to ensure a positive candidate experience, quickly and dynamically posting job adverts to find the best candidates, and proactively searching for potential candidates using your own initiative.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full recruitment process from posting job advertisements to making job offers, including processing incoming applications, screening candidates, conducting pre-screen interviews, and shortlisting candidates for interviews.
  • Prepare and manage interview packs, assisting managers with interviews as required, and ensure managers have the relevant materials for conducting interviews.
  • Maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, discussing future sourcing needs, role briefs, and candidate feedback, and exploring ways to secure the right hire.
  • Use creative sourcing methods, including headhunting, and utilise social media and job boards to attract candidates for open roles.
  • Manage candidate relationships from application to offer acceptance, prepare interview guides and tests alongside hiring managers, and produce reports on time to hire, costs per hire, and related recruitment factors.
  • Stay up to date with market trends, provide analysis to the HR team and hiring managers, advise and coach hiring managers on best practice recruitment, and manage recruitment agency partnerships.

About you:

  • Recruitment and selection experience up to Managerial level, with an understanding of online candidate management, recruitment databases, job boards, assessment centres, psychometric testing, and other best practice selection tools.
  • Strong relationship management skills, proactive with drive and ambition, confidence, resilience, and the ability to push back when required.
  • Strong ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines, with excellent organisational and interpersonal skills, and the ability to communicate and network with all levels of internal and external customers.
  • Customer-focused, able to work well under pressure, and thrive on new challenges and tasks. Understanding of financial budgets and targets, striving to not only meet but exceed goals.

This role is full-time, 37.5 hours per week. Working hours can be agreed with the successful candidate.
