Elevation Recruitment - Business Support Division are excited to be exclusively recruiting for a well-established manufacturer based in Castleford, known for delivering high-quality products and excellent service across their sector, in their search for a permanent Supply Chain Administrator.
The Role:
As a Supply Chain Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting the daily operations of their supply chain function. From raising purchase orders to liaising with suppliers, your contributions will ensure smooth, efficient procurement and stock management processes.
Key info:
- Up to £26,000
- Full Time -Office Based
- Hours: Mon- Thurs 8am-5pm 1 hour lunch, Friday 8am-1pm
Key Responsibilities:
- Raise purchase order (PO) numbers in a timely and accurate manner
- Match invoices against POs and resolve any discrepancies
- Monitor and manage the procurement inbox, handling all incoming queries
- Engage with suppliers to obtain quotations and pricing
- Order office and general operational supplies as required
- Support the Goods-In process, including running and maintaining inspection sheets in Excel
- Accurately book stock into Excel systems and record all stock movements
- Maintain up-to-date and organised stock spreadsheets
What We're Looking For:
- Previous experience in a supply chain, procurement, or admin-based role (manufacturing environment preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (including using formulas and managing spreadsheets)
- Good organisational and communication skills
- A proactive approach and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Team player with a positive attitude
