Part Time Finance Assistant Job in Ringwood

Dovetail Recruitment are pleased to be working with a prestigious client in Ringwood, who are recruiting for a Part Time Finance Assistant. The company have been established for many years and provide a high level of service to their clients.

The Part Time Finance Assistant will be working 2 days a week 9.00 am - 5.00 pm. The successful candidate will be responsible for sales and purchase ledger, matching and coding invoices, and bank reconciliation.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for incoming paperwork
  • Matching CMJ invoices to store copies
  • Working through CMJ statements to work out the RFC or payable invoices
  • Checking CMJ invoices are stocked into bransom correctly
  • Chasing stores for outstanding invoices
  • Invoice coding - Generals/CMJ/Pandora invoices
  • Preparing banking sheets, log petty cash and complete cashbook
  • Filing all paperwork and organising filing system
  • Inputting, matching purchase invoices
  • Ordering stationery, office supplies
  • Opportunity to get involved with other tasks when they arise

Knowledge and Experience:

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive financial information.
  • Effective organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office

Salary and Benefits:

  • £12.50 per hour, 16 hours a week
  • 20 days pro rata + bank holidays
