Client Manager /Accountant, Holmfirth, £35,000+
Due to continued growth, an accountancy practice in Holmfirth is recruiting for an Accountant/Client Manager to join their team. There is the opportunity to progress to a management position.
Duties
- Accounts preparation
- Preparing corporation and business tax computations
- Managing a portfolio of clients, interacting with them on a regular basis
- Attending client meetings
- Prepare and understand budgets for clients
- Technical awareness for accounting and tax changes that would impact clients
- An ability to prepare management accounts and financial models in excel
- Training junior members of the team
- Assisting with remuneration/dividend planning
- Assisting with statutory audits as required on occasion
- Assisting with ad-hoc projects and accountancy work when required
Requirements
- Practice Accountancy experience, ideally AAT, ACA or ACCA qualified, qualified by experience will also be considered.
- Experienced with completing year-end accounts
- Experience of mentoring junior members.
- Experience using Iris, Sage, Xero and QuickBooks would be desirable, training can be provided on the software systems.
