In this Head of Finance role, you will:
- Oversee financial operations for both primary and secondary schools, ensuring seamless integration and efficiency.
- Manage the preparation of management accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial standards.
- Take full responsibility for budgeting, including planning, monitoring, and reporting.
- Lead and mentor a team of eight finance professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
- Support strategic decision-making processes by providing financial insights and analysis to the CFO.

The successful candidate will:
- Be a newly qualified accountant eager to grow and develop into a leadership position.
- Ideally, have experience in financial management within the education sector, though candidates from other sectors are strongly encouraged to apply.
- Have line management experience overseeing one or two direct reports and be prepared to lead a larger team.
- Potentially come from a multi-academy trust background in a Management Accountant or Finance Manager role, seeking to take on greater responsibilities.
