Our client, a prestigious firm of financial planners in south Manchester are looking to appoint a Paraplanning Manager on a permanent basis.
Whilst managerial experience is desired, it is not essential, so senior Paraplanners will be considered.
Working from home or out of prestigious offices, you will be an integral part of the firm's technical and management function.
The firm itself pride themselves on very high quality and compliant client servicing and the ultimate aim of the role is to ensure this is consistent throughout the paraplanning function.
Duties and responsibilities will include: (not limited to)
- Managing the paraplanning function
- Making improvements to processes
- Supporting the Paraplanners to allow them in presenting accurate suitability report
- Writing and tailoring high quality suitability letters when required
- Confidence in challenging Financial Planners and Paraplanners
- Attending client meetings (when required)
- Key involvement with product research surrounding the key financial products in order to arrive at the most suitable recommendations
The Person:
- Level 4 Diploma (essential)
- Managerial / Team Leader experience (highly desirable)
- Experience of dealing with all aspects of advice (desirable)
- Experienced in dealing with High Net Worth clients (desirable)
- Reliable and diligent
- Excellent working knowledge surrounding the key areas of Financial Planning
- Strong commercial and technical knowledge
- Personable and professional
In return this opportunity offers a basic salary of between £50,000 & £65,000, home working, bonuses and fantastic benefits package.
