Description
Ward Coordinator:
- Patient facing role - be the face of the ward!
- Meeting and greeting patients and visitors
- Supporting the clinical teams, consultants
- Preparing patients medical folders and updating their details and activity
- Printing labels and wristbands
- Preparing and updating request forms
- Managing telephone calls and emails
- Keeping the ward tidy and clean
- Ordering supplies and keeping it stocked
- Smart/casual dress code - no jeans and trainers
Profile
Ward Coordinator:
- Excellent customer service and administrative skills
- Previous role in healthcare is desirable but not essential - will be beneficial to understand the role and environment
- Able to work in a fast paced role
- Provide a welcoming environment able to understand the needs of the patients and visitors
- Must be able to work on-site 5 days per week
- Must be available between 7am - 5pm for various shift patterns
- Aware that on some weeks there may be less than 5 days available work due to the temporary nature of the role
