Pay Rates: £22.92 Per hour
Shift Patterns: Monday - Friday 9.00am - 17.00pm

The Lucas ward is a 11 bedded female acute ward and is a new ward that is part of a pilot project. The pilot project consists of a staffing ratio that is high in levels of psychology and other therapy input (e.g. occupational therapy and activity coordination) alongside higher nursing team levels. This is to see if quality of care and therapeutic outcomes can be improved by this high intensity input. As such, we are looking for a motivated and highly skilled Band 6 OT who can support the aims of this
What you can add:
- Contribute to the generic functioning of the team
- Advocate and promote occupational therapy within the Trust
- Evaluation of the effectiveness of occupational therapy interventions
What you'll need:
- Diploma / Degree in Physiotherapy / Occupational therapy.
- HCPC Registration
- Experience in adult acute inpatient Mental Health
- Post registration experience in rehabilitation and condition management.
In addition to experience, all Qualified roles will be required to provide evidence of
- Relevant Qualifications
- Registration with the relevant Registration Body if applicable.
