My Client, a consultancy organisation are looking for a Senior Project Manager on an initial six-month basis.
Location: London (3 days a week on-site)
Day rate: £550 P/D (OUTSIDE of IR35)
Role overview
This position involves managing the day-to-day operational and tactical aspects of large, complex IT projects. The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet client expectations. Key responsibilities include managing client interactions, developing comprehensive project plans, overseeing resource allocation, and implementing quality assurance procedures. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in financial markets or investment banking, strong communication and leadership skills, and proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
Key Skills
- Minimum 5 years of Project Management experience in Professional Services.
- Datacentre infrastructure and Application Migration Project Management experience is essential.
- PMP or Prince 2 certification.
- Experience in financial markets/investment banking.
- Knowledge in Networking, Storage, Virtualization and Cloud Security.
- Strong financial analysis and reporting skills.
- Proficiency with project management software.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Must be an EU citizen eligible to work in the UK; travel may be required.
