About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Credit Controller to join our team on a part-time basis. This ongoing temporary role offers the flexibility of working three days a week, specifically on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. The position is conveniently located between Cannock and Wolverhampton, with free parking provided.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing and collecting debts from company debtors
- Setting up the terms of credit for new clients
- Negotiating payment plans
- Handling queries related to invoices and payments
- Monitoring debtor balances to ensure a reduction in debtors
- Ensuring credit and collection policies and procedures are followed within the team
- Using Sage software for maintaining accurate records of all credit control activities
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in credit control
- Proficiency in using Sage software
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
