Our client is a bespoke office fit-out and relocation business based in West London. They are a team of dedicated specialists, developing and delivering custom working environments and solutions for leading brands and companies across London and the Home-Counties.

They are rapidly expanding and require a full-time Projects Coordinator / Trainee Project Manager to provide vital support to their commercial interiors team so they can continue to service their growing client-base.

The successful candidate will be a ‘rock' in the team, helping them all to be well organised and effective, providing a great experience for their clients.

This is an important role, and you will be part of a growing, successful team who are focused on getting the business to the next level.

  • 37.5 hrs per week, from Monday to Friday in the Office

Your Main Duties will be as follows

  • Placing orders for projects, keeping track on them and organise deliveries to our client's storage/site(s)
  • Assist in the planning, execution, and closing of commercial interior fit-out projects
  • Check accuracy of orders received and file appropriately
  • Produce risk assessments and method statements
  • Produce quotes and estimations
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to maintain project timelines and budgets
  • Keep online diaries and spreadsheets up to date with accurate information, including tracking orders and delivery dates
  • Communicate effectively with clients, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns promptly
  • Document control
  • Health and Safety on site champion
  • Running smaller projects
  • Support Senior Project Managers in the preparation of project documentation, including schedules, budgets, and reports

Skills and attributes:

  • Great attention to detail
  • Self-motivated and enthusiastic
  • Flexible and adaptable
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Previous experience in construction/fit out/interiors
  • Ability to build relationships with people of all levels both within company and external suppliers and clients
  • Ability to communicate with both client, senior management and equally subcontractors
  • Good telephone manner
