Appointed Person
Location: Plymouth, Devon
Rate: £300-350 per day inside IR35 Via Umb + £50 per day Lodge Contribution
Duration: Long Term contract opportunity
Start date: As soon as possible, subject to vetting process required for security.
My client has an opportunity for an Appointed Person to work for a major project in Plymouth area. This is a chance for an individual to join a progressive company on a major.
Appointed Person Responsibilities
- Ensuring that all lifting activities on projects are planned communicated and carried out safely.
- Ensuring governance and compliance of all lifting processes and procedures.
- Coordinating with Construction, Project managers and Lift supervisors to ensure safe and efficient execution of all lifting operations.
- Ensure that works items on plant and equipment are carried out quickly and safely and that the customer is fully informed at all times on progress and any issues that may arise.
- Establish an effective procedure for reporting defects and taking necessary corrective action.
Appointed Person Requirements :
- Previous experience in the lifting industry and in a similar role.
- Appointed Person CPCS Blue card (A61)
- Comfortable in using CAD to produce lifting plans
- Prior Major project experience would be beneficial
